scholarships

HTCPM organisation will offer some scholarships to students or young researchers who will give presentation (poster or oral) at the HTCPM2020 conference. (Please note that it is still possible to apply for an abstract for poster presentation). The scholarships will cover totality or part of registration fees. In order to apply, the following documents must be submitted before 31th January 2020 by e-mail to htcpm2020(at)inp-toulouse.fr using the subject heading "HTCPM2020 Scholarship":
-An application letter (one page maximum) explaining their motivation and why they need a financial support.
-CV or résumé (one page maximum), clearly indicating affiliation and present position of the applicant (and name of supervisor if applicable).
-A support letter from thesis advisor for students (one page maximum).
Successful applicants will be notified by email before 15 February 2020.

Topic

The goal of the symposium is to capture the current research and scientific understanding related to high temperature corrosion of materials.

 

Since 1989, HTCPM is organized  every four years on Les Embiez Island, France. The first edition of this conference wad held in 1986 in Marseille, France.

 

HTCPM 2020 is jointly organised by the Univ. Grenoble Alpes, France (UGA), Oak Ridge National Laboratory, US (ORNL), Toulouse Institut National Polytechnique, France (Toulouse INP), Université de Lorraine, France (Lorraine U) and Université de Bourgogne, France (Bourgne U).

L' Îles des Embiez

    L'île des Embiez is a French island located one kilometre from six-fours-Les-Plages near Toulon, in the South of the country.

    Today, the island became much more significant in terms of tourism. It has several hotels and apartments available for rent and nice restaurants. The port can welcome 150 boats in stopover per day.

    Various water and land activities are offered such as diving, kayaking, paddle and tennis. Bike and boat rentals are possible on the island, as well as the possibility to make a guided tour of the island on a small train.
